Cleveland Community College's women's basketball team packed a lot into a four-game run from February 7–14—opening with a home win, battling through a tough road loss, grinding out a defensive-minded victory, and finishing with an 80-point thriller that came down to the final possession.
Feb. 7 — Cleveland 74, Wake Tech 63 (Shelby, N.C.)
The Yetis set the tone early with a 24-point first quarter and leaned on a huge scoring night from Jada Whitesides, who poured in 31 points while knocking down five 3-pointers and living at the line (14-of-20 FT). Cleveland's perimeter shooting was a difference-maker overall, drilling 13 threes in the win.
Kari Lee ran the show with 7 assists, adding 9 points, 4 rebounds, and strong two-way pressure (3 steals, 1 block). Cleveland's bench provided timely scoring support, led by Juliana Ball (9 points) and La'Tayshia Andrews (9 points, 3-for-7 from three). The Yetis also flashed rim protection throughout—Haley Dalton and Sydnie Enste combined for key interior defense, with Enste recording 3 blocks.

Lee posted a monster all-around line with 16 points and a double-double (10 rebounds).

Feb. 13 — Cleveland 59, Brunswick 52
The Yetis responded with a gritty road win, holding Brunswick to 29.2% shooting. Kari Lee was relentless, leading the way with 23 points and attacking the paint all night, including 11 made free throws. She added impact everywhere—7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 6 steals.
Cleveland also got a major lift from Haley Dalton, who was flawless from the field (3-for-3) and added 2 blocks. Defensive spark came off the bench too—Sydnie Enste pulled down 7 rebounds and swatted 4 shots, and Ravin Brooks provided instant offense by going 2-for-2 from three for 6 points.
