Bio

Coach Ronald Beaver has led Cleveland Community College Yetis softball since its inaugural season in 2019 and continues to guide the program to new levels of success within NJCAA Region 10. Under his leadership, the Yetis have grown into a nationally recognized program, highlighted by a record-setting 34-win season in 2025 and a national ranking of #24. That same year, he was named the NJCAA Region 10 Division II Coach of the Year.

The Yetis have earned several signature victories during his tenure, including a win over #5-ranked Louisburg College in 2025 and a victory over the nation’s #1-ranked Louisburg team in 2024.

Prior to joining Cleveland Community College, Coach Beaver  spent more than a decade coaching at Crest High School, serving as Varsity Assistant Coach and Head JV Coach from 2006–2016 while also assisting at Crest Middle School. He also served as Head Coach at Burns High School in 2017.

A 1992 graduate of Burns High School, Coach Beaver  was a multi-sport athlete, playing four years of baseball and two years of football. He also played three seasons of American Legion baseball with Cherryville Post 100 and earned multiple All-Conference honors.

With strong ties to Cleveland County and a passion for developing student-athletes, Coach Beaver continues to build a culture of competitiveness and growth within the Yetis softball program.
