Yetis Earn Multiple All-Region Honors at Home Championship
The Cleveland Community College Yetis hosted the Region 10 Cross Country Championship on Saturday, turning in one of their strongest team performances of the season. Four Yeti runners posted season-best times, led by freshman standout Brayden Rushing, who came within just three seconds of breaking the school record with a time of 27:59.
Rushing's fourth-place finish earned him a spot on the 2025 All-Region 10 Team, joined by teammate Eli Stroud, who placed sixth. Both runners secured top-seven finishes to claim All-Region honors. Jaylon Porter also turned in a strong race, finishing in the top ten to round out the men's team's impressive showing.
On the women's side, Leilanni Delano continued her outstanding season with a sixth-place finish, earning All-Region recognition for the second consecutive year.
Rushing, Stroud, Delano, and Porter will represent the Yetis at the NJCAA National Championship on November 8 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, as they look to close out the season with another record-setting performance.
